Stephen is an actor, puppeteer, and creature artist based in the UK. His credits include: multiple Doctor Who (BBC), Warhorse (The National Theatre), The Crown & Behind Her Eyes (Netflix), Hi!Street Fest (Emergency Exit Arts), Walk of the Dandelions (Luke Brown Company), The Great (Hulu), and The Peripheral (Amazon). He is represented by Sam at Carey Dodd Associates.

Stephen is also the Company Director of Animate Puppet Co CIC. Animate is a Hampshire-based puppetry company that specialises in delivering academic and community workshops and large-scale walkabout puppetry acts.​​​ Alongside Animate, Stephen also facilitates workshops with Bearface Theatre.
